What About Cold Weather Operation?

The RS17A includes standard all-weather capability for typical residential climates.

For colder regions, an optional Cold Weather Kit can be added to improve winter starting performance and overall reliability.

Why Pair a Generator with an Automatic Transfer Switch?

An automatic transfer switch (ATS) detects outages instantly, transfers electrical load safely, prevents backfeed into the utility grid, and restores utility power when service returns.

When combined, the generator and ATS create a fully automated backup power system.
