Offering more power in a smaller footprint that fits into tight spaces and lot lines, Briggs & Stratton® PowerProtect™ 13kW¹ Home Standby Generator provides the essential power you need during a power outage. Engineered with NGMax™ technology for superior power and performance, this compact but mighty generator features a 39% smaller footprint³ than other leading generators. With 37 kVA of motor starting power, the 13kW generator easily handles large appliances and equipment.

39% smaller footprint than the competition in its named class. Approved for professional installation as close as 18” to a building⁴ offering more options for discreet placement around your home. Upright design provides the smallest footprint possible so it’s easier to install in tight areas. The front exhaust design allows for ultimate installation versatility.

  • 7-year comprehensive warranty covers mileage, labor, parts and major components. No out of pocket costs; labor, parts, service all included. That’s up to a $849 value!

  • Reinforced, corrosion-resistant aluminum enclosure with Dura-Zen™ coating for a long-lasting attractive appearance.

Designed for reliable, continuous performance from the engine experts at Briggs & Stratton.

Our short 16-second weekly test mode ensures your generator is in top operating condition while reducing noise and fuel consumption.

Customizable to your home's power needs, our optional Symphony® Choice Power Management allows you to use a smaller, more affordable generator to prioritize your power needs.

Monitor your generator status from anywhere and get service updates from the convenience of your smart phone, tablet or computer.

With 115+ years of experience providing power solutions, Briggs & Stratton is a brand homeowners trust. Our products are engineered and assembled in the USA⁶ and our customers can rely on us for exceptional performance and durability.
